Safety instructions
– The A8VO pumps are designed for use in open circuits.
– Project planning, assembly and commissioning of the pumps must be
carried out by qualified personnel.
– The service and function ports are designed only for the
installation of hydraulic lines.
– There is a risk of burns from the motor (especially the solenoid)
during and shortly after operation. Take appropriate safety
precautions, such as wearing protective clothing.
– The pump characteristics may vary, depending on the operating
conditions of the pump (operating pressure, oil temperature).
– Tightening torques:
- The tightening torques stated in this technical data sheet are
maximum values and must not be exceeded (maximum values for
thread torque).
The manufacturer's instructions for the maximum permissible
tightening torques of the mounting tools used must be observed!
- For DIN 13 fixing screws, we recommend that their tightening
torques be checked individually in accordance with VDI 2230, 2003
edition.

Installation instructions
During commissioning and operation, the axial piston unit must
always be filled with hydraulic oil and purged of air. This also
applies to relatively long periods of inactivity, since
the system can drain through the hydraulic lines.
The case drain is internally connected to the suction chamber. It
is not necessary to connect the case drain line to the tank.
Note the characteristics of flushing fluid for size 200. (port R4)
The suction line must lead to a point below the minimum oil level
in the tank in all operating states.
The minimum suction pressure at port S must not drop below 0.8 bar.

Shaft horizontal.
Mounting below tank
Mounting below tank means that the pump is installed below the
minimum oil level in the tank.
